The hotel benefits from an excellent location right in the very heart of the old town of Prague. It is within walking distance of all the city's sights, including the old town square and Charles Bridge and stands on one of Prague's pretty cobbled squares. The bedrooms are average in size, although some are larger and more spacious. They are elegantly decorated and most have the same blue theme running throughout the hotel. The bathrooms are of good standard. The beautiful, art-nouveau styled restaurant is located on the ground floor and offers both local dishes and International cuisine. The elegant bar is also located on the ground floor. The building itself is a significant, historical landmark built at the turn of the century in art nouveau style. The beautiful old facade is truly a work of art in its own right. The lobby area is of medium size with marble floors, elegant blue decor and a quiet seating area separated from the main reception through a series of alcoves. There is also an old-fashioned wrought iron lift adding to the twenties feel of the property. A hotel with a perfect location and a striking atmosphere. (07.08 HO)
