Quietly located near Prague Castle and the famous Strahov monastery, the hotel is wonderfully situated for sightseeing around Hradcany (the Castle district area), and the old artist's quarter. Rooms vary in size due to the uniqueness of the building, however most are at least medium-sized and some are large or even very large. All the rooms are of a very good standard and extremely well appointed. They are beautifully decorated in muted, pastel colours with elegant antique furniture. The bathrooms are a good size and all in marble and all have a separate toilet. One of the unique selling points of the hotel and situated on the ground floor, is the restaurant, surrounded by a lush garden with a retractable dome so that guests can dine outside, weather permitting. Housed in one of Prague's beautiful old period buildings the elegant 19th century facade overlooks one of the city's traditional cobbled streets. The marbled lobby is medium-sized and leads onto a cosy library/ lounge, complete with open fireplace, comfortable wing backed chairs and a wide selection of books and newspapers to read.
