Situated at the end of Princess wharf and overlooking Auckland Waitemata harbour. Close to the Viaduct yacht harbour with its choice of restaurants and Cafes. Walking distance (300 metres) to the shopping and CBD. A day spa - called Spa de Serville adjoins the hotel. Medium size rooms, modern and well appointed, with in house movies, cable TV, mini bars, hair dryer. Widely acclaimed for its architectual design. Spacious marble bathrooms have a separate bath and shower unit. White is the signature restaurant and has won many awards, it is a contemporary restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fantastic views, cuisine and service. There is a very nice cocktail bar on the ground floor called Bellinis. A Modern building completed in 2002. A striking development on the waterfront, nautically inspired design, reminiscent of a sleek ship. The large international cruise ships do dock alongside the hotel when visiting Auckland, this adds to the sophisticated feel to the hotel but can also mean its crowded when the cruise ships are in port. Modern, medium size lobby reflects the link between seascape and landscape. Lots of light and a pleasant place to sit and relax. One of the best Auckland five star hotels, in a perfect location.
