  1. Kindly read through terms and conditions of City Resort Hotels.com before making your booking ....
  2. The following conditions will be incorporated into your contract and you should therefore read them carefully. If you have any query's you should contact our customer care team.  By booking with cityresorthotels.com you confirm that you understand and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  3. The person who completes the on-line booking form must be over 18 years of age and is responsible for ensuring full payment with cityresorthotels.com
  4. It is important for you to know that whenever you provide us with personal details or credit card information, it is secure. Your credit card number, name, address, and telephone number are protected by powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology as it travels through the internet.
  5. e do not accept liability or pay compensation for any loss, damage or expense where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations is prevented or affected by reason of force majeure. Force Majeure means any event which we or the hotel of the service could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid such as war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, closure of airports or ports, entry visa requirements,  technical problems with transport, governmental action and all other similar events.
  6. Descriptions of the hotels and their facilities and amenities are provided by the hotels. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the descriptions and information are accurate, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions.  Changes may occur which are beyond our control. In the interests of continued improvement, hotels may alter furniture, fittings, amenities, facilities or any part of any activities, either advertised or previously available, without prior notice. Hotels will also show the effects of normal wear and tear and these too are also beyond our control. Please note that hotel classifications and assessments are often based on our own view and may not reflect other sources.  We will not accept any claim for compensation based on any description or information either provided or missing. Please pay special attention to the room description at the time of booking. We do not have any control over special requests to individual hotels, however, any special requests made at the time of booking will be passed to the hotel with your booking details. Triple and quad rooms may not always contain three or four separate full size single beds.  One or more folding beds may be used. The published descriptions of hotels are given in good faith.
  7. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that the room(s) booked will be suitable for their party size. Please check during the booking process for any additional supplements (i.e., single occupancy of twin room or 3rd adult sharing twin room - these can be found under the 'Details' button during the booking process. We shall not be liable for of any loss or third party claim, including cancellation charges, we may incur as a result of any incomplete or inaccurate details in the booking you added to our system or the booking information you sent to us for us to reserve on your behalf.  We will not accept any liability if there are problems with bookings as a result of your supplying incorrect information such as, but not limited to, the spelling of names, incorrect stay dates and incorrect city or hotel requested.
  8. We will always do our best to ensure that all confirmed bookings are accepted by the hotel.  If it happens that a hotel is unable to accept a confirmed booking we will do our best to provide you with a suitable alternative of the same standard and in the same location. We cannot guarantee in every case that the alternative accommodation booked by us or the original hotel will be of a matching standard or in the same location as that booked.
  9. Hotels have different child policies and it is the responsibility of the person making the booking to check directly with the hotel for information such as the maximum child age and what discounts apply, if any.
  10. We act solely as an intermediary and not as a principle when making bookings for hotels or any other services we supply. We are therefore not liable for personal injury, illness, property damage or other loss or expense of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of any the actions of the company with which we booked or supplying the service we have reserved on your behalf. 
  11. The final price for any booking is the price quoted on the online system. The currency for each item booked will be that displayed on the Hotel Availability search. All hotel rates are inclusive of local taxes, service charge and, at least, continental breakfast where breakfast is included and unless stated otherwise at the time of booking.
  12. The standard cancellation deadline, not in trade fair or special event periods, is 12:00 hours London time 3 days before arrival.  Bookings cancelled later than this are subject to a minimum charge of the 3 nights of the booked period per room cancelled. Bookings changed within the cancellation deadline but so the arrival date is no longer within the cancellation deadline period will still attract a cancellation charge for at least the first of any unused nights.  Non standard cancellation deadlines may apply from time to time.  These will be advised in our prices and on the affected bookings.
  13. When we confirm a reservation we do not require reconfirmation from you. Should the booking not be required it is your responsibility to cancel the booking with us on line. All amendments (to reduce the number of rooms  booked or to shorten the stay) and/or cancellations must have been made on our system by midday UK time, three working days before arrival to avoid charges (admin fee will always apply) for bookings not in trade fair or special event periods. For bookings with a longer cancellation deadline, usually but not exclusively bookings in trade fair and special event periods the amendment (to reduce the number of rooms booked or to shorten the stay) and/or cancellations must have been made on our system or sent to us by email before the deadline expires.
  14. Changes to bookings can only be dealt with when requested by you to us.  If you cancel direct with the hotel you may still be liable to be charged as the hotels’ contracts are with us.  We may therefore still be liable for charges, which we must pass on, should you cancel direct. We will need a confirmation letter from an authorised representative of that hotel stating that the change has been accepted and that no charges will be levied to us as a result of the change.
  15. Should you leave a hotel before the end of your booked stay and without informing the hotel you are doing so, we cannot refund any unused nights.
  16. The online booking system may only be used to book a maximum of 9 guests, in no more than 5 rooms. Any more than this is classified as a Group reservation and must not be sent to us using the system. Such bookings must be sent by email and will be subject to quotation and prepayment.  If bookings are added using our on-line system and the hotel believes they are a group they are not bound to take the booking.
  17. If you are dissatisfied with any of the arrangements we have made for them, you should use the telephone numbers provided before your departure from the hotel.  Hotels are more likely resolve matters if problems are reported at the time. If after that you still feel that the problem has not been resolved to your reasonable satisfaction you should within 7 days of returning from the hotel put your comments in writing to our customer care team we will forward them to the hotelier.
  18. Please note that the maximum amount we may have to pay you for any and all claims or parts of claims which do not involve personal injury, illness or death is limited to the price (excluding administration and cancellation fees) paid by or on behalf of the person(s) affected in total.
  19. We reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
  20. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Maltese Law. Disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the  Maltese courts.
